Formed in 2002 Vizio has become the leading seller of LCD televisions in the United States. In the last few years Vizio has completley dropped their line of plasma televisions to completely focus on LCD panels. They manufacture sets that have both LED and CCFL backlighting and typically pack their televisions with features and offer them at a lower price than most of the other major manufacturers. The corner cutting tends to show up when pitted against a top tier manufacturer but for budget conscious consumers Vizio is not at all a bad choice.

The M3D series contain all the features of the M series Razor LED TVs but add passive 3D capability. It is available in 42"-55" but comes in two varieties, the SV is the higher end line of the two and has a higher contrast ratio and slightly better black levels. Both models feature full internet connecivity and a slide out QWERTY keyboard in the remote.

Vizio XVTPRO Series
New for 2010 Vizio introduces the XVTPRO series of LED TVs. This model is equipped with local dimming LED backlights and 480Hz picture processing. Vizio's proprietary Smart Dimming technology controls hundreds of individual LED zones to provide greater contrast and color management than regular LCD or edge-lit LED panels. Also added to these new Vizio TVs is wireless HDMI.
