It is HDTV-ready, so when connected to an HDTV receiver, it will produce sharper, wider, lifelike pictures and digital sound. The widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, 500:1 contrast ratio, and super-high 1280 x 768 resolution give this LCD television all the elements to make it perfect for a home theater system.

There are several front A/V inputs, including S-video and composite video, making it easy to connect the TC-32LX20 to digital devices like video game consoles and digital cameras. Rear inputs include two component video inputs, one more each of S-video and composite video inputs, RF in, audio line in, and an audio line output. It also features an HDMI interface, which enables a high-end digital connection between A/V devices. New Pixel Controller

Motion Adaptive 3D-Y/C Digital Comb Filter
Displays bright colors and fast-moving scenes with incredible clarity in the LCD television panel by minimizing the "color rainbow effect" in closely spaced patterns, compensating for the motion that occurs between fields.

Active Light Control
Automatically detects the brightness levels of the input signal and adjusts the backlight accordingly. Active Light control maximizes brightness, resulting in crisp, natural pictures, and preserve the lifespan of the LCD panel's backlight.

Active System Control

HDMI-HDCP Interface
HDMI is a new standard digital connection between A/V devices, such as a set-top box, DVD player or A/V receiver, and a digital television such as the Panasonic LCD TV. HDMI offers exceptional video and audio quality with a single quick-disconnect connector. It supports multi-channel digital audio transmissions and component video color spacing for true rendering of HD video. HDMI supports the HDCP copy protection standard, allowing transmission of copy-protected digital content to your display. The video portion of HDMI is also backwards-compatible with DVI-HDCP devices using a common cable adapter.

Component Video Input
Delivers outstanding resolution and color accuracy of video images from a variety of sources, including DVD players, by keeping the separate signal elements of video images intact during the transmission process.

SD Memory Card Slot
The TC-32LX20 features an SD Memory Card slot. Images from a digital still camera or digital video camera stored on the card can be viewed on the large screen, allowing users to enjoy slide shows without needing extra connection cables or other equipment.

PC Card Slot
By putting a memory card from a digital still camera into a PC card adapter, and then placing it in the LCD TV PC card slot, you can view JPEG images on your TV. Compatible Memory Cards include: Standard SD Memory Card, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MultimediaCard and Smart Media.
