The NVU55FX5LSX is a limited edition version of the NVU55FX5LS with a brushed silver aluminum bezel.

NuVision's flagship line of LED backlit LCD televisions is the FX5LS series. The FX5 moniker is short for Film Times 5, movie film is shot at 24 frames per second, playing this back on a 60Hz TV requires 3:2 pulldown, the FX5LS shows each frame 5 times for smooth motion and panning during film playback. Frame forward motion interpolates the frames to smooth playback even more. The LED backlights provide a true white light for intense color reproduction and contrast. While lacking some of the "whiz bang" features like internet connectivity of other high end LED/LCD televisions, NuVision's focus on picture quality above all else should appeal to the discerning viewer.
