Below is a current list of Samsung TV models available in the 65" size. This list of models contains LCD, LED and 3D televisions, some of the below models have been reviewed by our editors, televisions are graded for picture quality, features and value then assigned an overall score. Models that are not reviewed will have commentary on the TV's features such as 3D capability, inputs, refresh rate, internet connectivity and more. For models available on the market there will be a price comparison window and specifications for the television will also be available.

2011 Samsung Models

Samsung 65" UN65D8000
This is the only 65" offering for Samsung for 2011 but we expect more in a variety of models for 2012. The 65D8000 was one of our favorite models to review and has outstanding picture quality and great 2 dimensional depth appearance. While this TV is not expensive it is almost large enough to replace your home theater projector in the basement. You do get a couple pairs of 3D active shutter glasses in the box with this TV. The 65" D8000 series has a new slimmer look and this TV still measures a paltry and almost unbelievable 1.2 inches in depth. 3D LED TVs return for 2011 with the D8000 series, a new slimmer look and expanded features over last years model. The Smart Hub Internet TV is a particular standout with access to many applications on the app store as well as streaming media and a full web browser. It also has the AutoMotion Plus 240Hz with Clear Motion Rate for faster processing of fast moving images and side to side panning. We are not crazy about the Eco sensor feature on the TV that is there to reduce light output in darker rooms to save energy but it ends up causing some flicker.
