Below is a current list of LG TV models available in the 65" size. This list of models contains LCD, LED and 3D televisions, some models contain a full review by one or more of our editors that grades the TV on picture quality, features and value. Models that don't have a full review will have commentary about the features such as hertz rate, internet connectivity, energy saving features, connections and more. Generally, the following LG model number series start with the most premium products and go down to the least expensive - the lower the model number the less features and price.

2011 LG Models

LG 65" 65LW6500
At the 2011 CES trade show LG introduced this massive 3D LED TV. At 65" the 65LW6500 is the largest TV LG is producing this year. The 65LW500 uses LGs Cinema 3D passive 3D technology that impressed us in our review of the television. Passive 3D is half th resolution of active 3D but the light weight glasses (that are FAR less costly) that aren't opening and closing 60 times per second were more comfortable for some of our staff. Editors who had complained of eyestrain with active 3D had no issues with this passive unit. The 65LW500 also includes the fun and innovative Magic Wand remote and the full Smart TV online entertainment suite.
